About Transgression
Wow, where to begin? Well, Transgression originally formed in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1992 with the intentions of making the thrash metal music we had grown up listening to. Well, that grew into two full length albums, an East coast tour and sharing the stage with most of the guys we grew up listening to. It was a wild time and most of it still a blur. That lineup called it quits pretty soon after the "Dead Wisdoms" album was released in 1997, maybe? If you were there with us, you remember the details, if not....you can start here.---------------- ------------------------

On New Years Eve of 2004, Ray and Jon decided it might be time to start writing again. They began auditioning other musicians which did not yield great results. Transgression ultimately was completed by John Dolan and Tim Griffith who had been close with the band since its inception in "92. They were right under our noses. Anyway, after a few months of practicing and writing new material, Transgression entered Live Sonic Recording Studios to record the "Idols Of Sickness" album with producer Danny Carter (original Transgression drummer). Transgression are now in the process of rehearsing a ton of old and new material to play live.-------------------------------------- We've decided this time, it doesn't seem so important to get signed to a huge record label or tour the world. This time its for us and the people who we call fans. We appreciate you greatly. And the lights still grow.......
